Fires and explosions are a particularly specialised area. I tend to provide small scale flame bar illusions such as Fire in Grates, flame bar elements and small pyrotechnic flashes.
I do also work alongside larger SFX companies to create larger scale fire effects (see Emmerdale post), such as car bangs and house fires.
Remember fire cover and prevention is always necessary when creating this kind illusion.
